Noldus launches NoldusViso One, its new platform for behavioral research
The first solution built on NoldusRadix was unveiled in Wageningen and online, with a live demo and partner talks from Tobii, VicarVision, and Amsterdam UMC.
On October 8, Noldus launched NoldusViso One, the first solution built on NoldusRadix, the company's new technological foundation for behavioral research. The event in Wageningen drew a full room of guests alongside more than 100 people who joined the live stream.
NoldusViso is an end-to-end, fully browser-based platform that handles capture, video management, live streaming, observation, annotation, and sharing. It runs on off-the-shelf hardware with no vendor lock-in, scales from a single lab to multi-site setups, and treats enterprise-grade security - single sign-on, two-factor authentication, role-based access, encryption, and audit trails - as a starting point rather than an add-on. In a live demo, Arjan Veenboer built an observation scenario from scratch in the browser, tagged events in real time, and showed multi-room recording and marker navigation.
The afternoon also featured partner talks from Tobii on two decades of eye tracking, VicarVision on FaceReader's growth into a multimodal platform, and Dr. Linda Dusseljee-Peute of Amsterdam UMC - an early adopter already running NoldusViso in her eHealth lab - on why human factors matter in healthcare. Teams from HEC Montréal's Tech3Lab and Life Support Distribution rounded out the program.
The roadmap ahead includes multimodal integration of eye tracking, facial expression analysis, and physiological data, plus AI-assisted behavioral analysis. FaceReader data is already beginning to flow into the platform.
