Reusing Subject Names Across Sessions in TrackLab

In most experimental designs, subjects wear the same tag across multiple sessions. TrackLab simplifies this process using the “Re-use subject names” option available on the right side of the Subject Variables list.

To ensure subject identities are consistently maintained:

• Assign the correct subject names to tags in the first session.
• Before beginning the next session, enable the “Re-use subject names” checkbox.

Once this option is enabled, TrackLab will automatically assign the same subject names to the corresponding tags in subsequent sessions.

Note: For any new tag IDs introduced in a session, TrackLab will initially use the tag’s MAC ID as the subject name. These can then be renamed as needed.
