Can i migrate data from TrackLab 2.x to a newer version?

  1. From version 2.0-2.3 to version 2.1-2.4: No, not possible.
  2. From v2.4 upwards: yes, possible.

Notes:

  • Before upgrading, first make a database backup with the Backup tool. Get the tool and user manual at the R&D team. Note: This tool is for use by Support only, not for use by customers.
  • Use this article to upgrade TrackLab.
  • Once you install a migration-compatible TrackLab server (version 2.4 upwards), it will automatically detect an already existing database and migrate the data to the new database.
  • Version 2.12 upwards will contain demo projects for (1) human indoor UWB scenario, (2) animal indoor UWB scenario and the (3) outdoor GPS scenario. During installation, you can choose to install these or not.
