If i want to upgrade TrackLab, do i need to upgrade all three components (Viewer, Recorder and Server)?

Yes. You need to run all three installers. Please follow the steps in the TrackLab manual on how to update TrackLab.

Note: the steps describe the option to create a backup of the dataset. This is only available starting from TrackLab 2.15.
