DanioScope 1.1 - Data Analysis - Export Statistics

Export Statistics

To export Trial Statistics or Group Statistics:

  1. Choose Analysis > Trial Statistics or Analysis > Group Statistics & Charts depending on the type of statistics you want to export.
  2. Click the tab for the type of measurements you want to export (e.g. Activity).
  3. Click Export Statistics.
  4. Enter a name for your results file, or accept the default name.
  5. Choose the export format, Excel (*.xlsx) or Text (*.txt).
  6. Click Browse to select the export location, or accept the default location C:\Users\Public\Documents\Noldus\DanioScope\Export.
  7. Click Export.

Notes

  • The default export file name is: [experiment name] - [statistic type] - [measurement type], where statistic type is Trial Statistics or Group Statistics, and measurement type is Activity, Cardiology, Flow, or Morphology.
  • To change the default export folder, or the default text field delimiter, choose File > Preferences.

Export Raw Data

To export the pixel activity data calculated for each video frame. This applies to Activity, Cardiology, and Flow.

To export raw activity data:

  1. Choose Analysis > Trial Statistics.
  2. Click the tab for the type of measurements you want to export (e.g. Activity).
  3. Click Export Raw Data.
  4. Enter a name for your export file, or accept the default name.
  5. Choose the export format, Excel (*.xlsx) or Text (*.txt).
  6. Click Browse to select the export location, or accept the default location C:\Users\Public\Documents\Noldus\DanioScope\Export.
  7. Click Export.

Notes

  • Export is applied to the type of measurement currently open. To export data of another type, click the corresponding tab.
  • For Excel export files: DanioScope exports one file at a time. The Excel file contains one tab for each video. The default export file name is: [experiment name] - Raw Data - [measurement type (Activity, Cardiology, or Flow)].
  • For text export files: DanioScope exports one file per video. The column separator is semicolon (;). The default export file name is: [experiment name] - Raw Data - [measurement type (Activity, Cardiology, or Flow)] - [video file name].
  • In the export file, each column contains data for a subject and measurement combination.

Example of Export File

Cardiology - Excel:

  • A. Time stamps.
  • B. Activity (%) of the heart area of subject 6, measurement 1.
