Install DanioScope
System Requirements
Operating System
- Windows 10 Professional, 64 bit.
- Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit, Service Pack 1. To check that a Windows 7 computer has Service Pack 1 installed, choose Control Panel > System and Security > System. Under Windows edition you can see whether Service Pack 1 is installed.
Computer
DanioScope has been tested with a Dell Precision™ T5810 PC, and a Dell Precision™ 7510 mobile workstation.
Dell Precision™ T5810 PC
- Processor: E5-1620 v3 (Xeon 3.50 GHz 4-core).
- Internal memory: 8 GB.
- Graphics card: NVIDIA Quadro K620, 2 GB DDR3 memory.
- Hard disk: 500 MB free space for program installation. Allow enough hard disk space for storing video and image files.
Dell Precision™ 7510 Mobile Workstation
- Processor: 6820HQ (i7 2.70GHz 4-core).
- Internal memory: 8 GB.
- Graphics card: Nvidia Quadro M1000M, 2 GB GDDR5 memory.
- Hard disk: 500 MB free space for program installation. Allow enough hard disk space for storing video and image files.

Install DanioScope
Important: Make sure that the USB hardware key is not plugged in to your computer before installing the software.
To install DanioScope:
- Insert the DanioScope Installation USB stick into one of your computer's USB ports. Browse to the USB stick contents and double-click Setup.exe.
- In the Welcome screen, click Next>.
- Read the license agreement and select I accept, then click Next>.
- Click Install.
- When the Install Shield Wizard Completed screen appears, click Finish.
To start DanioScope:
- Insert the DanioScope hardware key in one of the USB ports of your computer.
- Double-click the DanioScope icon on your desktop, or choose Apps > Noldus > DanioScope.
Notes:
- The DanioScope program folder is by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Noldus\DanioScope 1.
- The DanioScope data folder is C:\Users\Public\Documents\Noldus\DanioScope\Experiments.

License Agreement
License
Noldus Information Technology b.v. ('Noldus') grants you a non-exclusive license to use the software and accompanying documentation (collectively called the 'Software' in this agreement) in accordance with the following terms. Noldus retains title and all ownership rights to the Software. Noldus will allow you to make back-up copies of the Software, always including copyright notices, provided that these copies are only for your own use. Noldus grants you the right to transfer this license and the Software to another party, provided that (a) the other party accepts all terms of this agreement, (b) all copies of the software are transferred and you discontinue use of the Software after transferring, (c) Noldus is promptly notified of the license number of the Software and the name and address of the other party, and (d) Noldus is not required to supply new media.
You may not sublicense, assign or transfer the license or the Software except as expressly provided in this agreement. Any attempt otherwise to sublicense, assign or transfer any of the rights, duties or obligations hereunder is void.
Term and Termination
Failure to comply with any of these terms will terminate this agreement and your right to use the Software. You may also choose to terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination of this agreement, you must immediately destroy the Software and all copies of it.
Limited Warranty
Noldus warrants that the media on which the Software is furnished are free of defects in workmanship and material under normal use, and that the Software will perform substantially in accordance with the specifications set forth in the documentation provided with the Software, for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase by you. During the 90-day warranty period, if the Software does not perform as warranted, Noldus at its sole option will (a) provide, without charge, a replacement of the media, (b) provide, without charge, corrected Software, (c) replace, without charge, Software with a functionally similar program, or (d) refund the fees paid for licensing the Software. These are your sole and exclusive remedies for any breach of warranty. Do not return any product until you have called Noldus or its supplier and obtained a return authorization number.

Software is licensed 'as is' without warranty as to its performance. Except for the limited warranty provided above, there are no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are expressly disclaimed. In no event shall Noldus or its suppliers be responsible for any indirect or consequential damage or lost profits, even if Noldus and its suppliers had been advised of the possibility of such damage.
Miscellaneous
The Software and accompanying documentation are protected by both Dutch copyright law and international copyright treaty provisions. This agreement will be governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
