-
If everything is setup correctly to a T per this document (and PC/Video card are sufficient) and camera is not working properly in EthoVision XT (missing samples for example). Then try disabling the firewall (info below), disabling anti-virus software and/or last resort do a factory reset on the camera.
-
Disable Firewall:
- Go to Start menu and type
firewall, then click Firewall and Network Protection. - Click Advanced Settings at the bottom.
- Under Overview (middle panel), click Windows Defender Firewall Properties.
- Click the Public Profile tab.
- Next to Protected Network Connections, click Customize.
- Deselect the option in front of Local Area Connection.
- If there is more than one local area connection, check step 4 in To Create Settings for the Ethernet Card for the correct local area connection.
- Repeat steps 4-6 for the Domain Profile and Private Profile tabs.
- Click Close.
- A warning balloon appears in the bottom-right of your window. Ignore this message and close all windows.
- Go to Start menu and type
- Disable Anti-Virus Software: Check the settings in your anti-virus software or ask your local IT person to disable it.
- Factory Reset: See Troubleshooting #18-B for how to do a factory reset. Camera must then be setup again per Section H.
