Arena Settings

• Ctrl+F5 – Start trial (Acquisition only)
• Ctrl+F6 – Stop trial (Acquisition only)
• Ctrl + + – Playback speed one step up. The current speed is shown next to this button. Note: It does not work with the key + on the numerical keyboard.
• Ctrl + - – Playback speed one step down. Note: It does not work with the key - on the numerical keyboard.
• (no shortcut) – Reset the background (grabs the current video frame and uses it as background)
• (no shortcut) – Skip trial
• (no shortcut) – Optimize tracking speed. See DDS (Detection determines speed)
• (no shortcut) – Starts screen recording (Integrated Visualization only)
• Del – Delete selected element
• Ctrl+J – Validate the Arena Settings
• V – Normal (arrow) mode
• R – Rotation mode
• P – Point edit mode
• L – Draw lines
• S – Draw rectangle
• O – Draw open polyline
• Y – Draw closed polyline
• E – Ellipse
• T – 3-Point circle
• I – Subdivided circle
• U – Subdivided rectangle
• Z – Add zone label

• Up arrow key – Nudge selected element smallest resolution unit up
• Down arrow key – Nudge selected element smallest resolution unit down
• Left arrow key – Nudge selected element smallest resolution unit left
• Right arrow key – Nudge selected element smallest resolution unit right
• Shift+arrow key – Nudge 10x
• Ctrl+. – Zoom in the background image and arena elements
• Ctrl+, – Zoom out the background image and arena elements

Manual Scoring Settings

• Ctrl+B – Add a behavior category
• Ctrl+V – Validate the current coding scheme

Detection Settings

See Windows – General and Row-select Grids shortcut keys. The following shortcut keys for playing back the video file work in the Detection Settings window.

Track Editor

The shortcut keys for playing back the video files, listed in Playback Control, Acquisition and Visualization also work in the Track Editor screen.

• Ctrl+up arrow key – Jump to begin
• Ctrl+down arrow key – Jump to end
• Ctrl+left arrow key – Step -1 sample
• Ctrl+right arrow key – Step +1 sample
• Ctrl+ – Play forward
• Ctrl+ – Pause / stop
• Ctrl+E – Open the Auto Select window
• W – Swap nose and tail in selection
• Ctrl+F – Open the Fix Nose-Tail Swaps window
• D – Swap subjects in selection
• Ctrl+Del – Set selection to missing
• Ctrl+I – Interpolate selection
• Ctrl+Shift+I – Interpolate only center-points
• Ctrl+M – Set tail-base points to missing
• Ctrl+Shift+M – Set nose points to missing

• C – Refresh the statistics results table
