Analyze Facial Expressions
Aim
To carry out the FaceReader analyses.
Prerequisite
You checked the Analysis settings by clicking the Settings button on the bottom of your screen. Make sure you selected the correct Face Model. See Active Face Model

With the Advanced Research Module you can analyze multiple faces in a video simultaneously. See Analyze Multiple Subjects Per Video.
Automatic Analysis Procedure
With the Project Analysis and The Stimulus Presentation Tool, analysis is carried out automatically when the participant starts a test. You do not have to start and stop analysis manually.

Manual Procedure Image Analysis
Aim
To analyze facial expressions from images.
Prerequisites
- You created a participant for each person. See Add Your Test Participants
- You created at least one image analysis for every participant. See Add Analysis Input
Procedure
- Optionally, select more than one image in an analysis and select Analyse all images to analyze all images of the participant at once.
- Click the Start analysis button. The track bar shows a dot in the color of the dominant expression for each image. When you hover with your mouse over the dot, the filename of the image and the dominant facial expression are shown.
- Check the Model quality bar for the analysis quality. The green bar should cross the dashed line.
- To export analysis results, choose File > Export and select to export the results of the analysis, participant, or the entire project. See Export Analysis Results
