Installing CatWalk XT on a secondary PC for analysis only

Problem
Users want to install CatWalk XT on an additional computer (e.g., an office laptop or a shared analysis workstation) so that classification and data analysis can be performed without occupying the acquisition PC.
Details
Applies to any CatWalk XT version. The software can be installed on secondary machines for analysis purposes in the same way as EthoVision XT. Installation files are available via the MyNoldus portal.
Solution
1. Log in to my.noldus.com with your Noldus account credentials.
2. Locate the CatWalk XT product under your licenses and download the installer (e.g., CatWalk XT - Setup - [version number].exe).
3. Run the installer on the secondary PC.
4. In the Welcome screen, select Installation type: Standard (or Custom if a non-default experiment folder location is needed).
5. Complete the installation wizard.
6. Activate the software using your existing license – analysis-only use does not require a separate license.
7. Copy or point the software to the experiment files (via network share or external drive) to begin classification and analysis.
