TCU Setup – Initial Configuration Guide and Coolant Liquid Ordering

Problem
Users who have just received a DanioVision Temperature Control Unit need guidance on initial setup, or need to purchase replacement coolant liquid.
Details
New users may not have access to the TCU setup PDF or know how to obtain it. Others need to reorder the Noldus-approved coolant liquid for the TCU but cannot find the item number in standard documentation.
Solution
Initial setup:
1. Download the DanioVision TCU setup/operation guide from MyNoldus (log in → Downloads → DanioVision). If you do not have MyNoldus access, contact Noldus support to receive the PDF directly.
2. Follow the guide for plumbing, coolant filling, and initial power-on sequence.
Ordering coolant liquid:
1. The coolant liquid for the TCU is available from Noldus but the item number is not published in standard end-user documentation.
2. Contact your regional Noldus sales or support representative directly to obtain the current item number and place an order.
3. Never substitute water or any non-approved fluid — use only Noldus-supplied coolant (see related article: 'TCU Coolant Reservoir Empty').
