Problem
A user asks whether EthoVision XT can be installed on a Mac computer.
Details
EthoVision XT is a Windows-only application. There is no macOS installer or macOS-compatible version. This applies to all current and historical versions of EthoVision XT.
Solution
1. EthoVision XT cannot be installed or run natively on macOS.
2. A dedicated Windows PC meeting Noldus's published system requirements is required.
3. Running EthoVision through a virtual machine or compatibility layer (e.g., Parallels, Wine) on a Mac is not supported or tested by Noldus and is not recommended.
4. If macOS hardware is the only option, consult Noldus Sales about obtaining a suitable Windows-based workstation.
