Default Camera Credentials Required to Add Noldus-Supplied Cameras to a Third-Party Recorder

Last updated: Oct 29, 2026

Problem

A user cannot connect Noldus-supplied IP cameras to a third-party ONVIF-compatible recorder because they do not know the camera's username and password.

Details

Noldus-supplied cameras (ONVIF-compliant models) are shipped with default credentials. When integrating with third-party recording hardware, the recorder requires these credentials during camera configuration.

Solution

1. Contact Noldus Support with your camera model and order details.
2. Support will provide the default username and password for your specific camera model.
3. Enter these credentials in the third-party recorder's camera configuration screen.
4. If the camera was previously configured with a custom password, a factory reset of the camera may be required before re-adding it. Contact Support for the reset procedure for your model.
