Problem
Upon unpacking mazes shipped through Noldus, surfaces appear to have an incorrect finish or appear discolored, causing concern that the wrong product was delivered.
Details
Mazes supplied by Maze Engineers and shipped through Noldus are packed with a protective tape layer on one side of the maze surfaces. Users who are unaware of this may mistake the tape layer for a manufacturing defect or incorrect color, or may not know the tape needs to be removed.
Solution
1. Carefully inspect maze panels for a protective tape or film layer applied to one or both surfaces.
2. Peel off the protective tape layer; this may require moderate effort.
3. Inspect the underlying surface to confirm the color and finish match the order.
4. If the color or finish still appears incorrect after removing the tape, contact Noldus support with photos for further assessment.
