Can a TrackLab GPS setup be installed by the customers themselves, with no on-site Noldus services?

Yes, GPS system installation by the customer is possible. Unlike a UWB tracking setup, the GPS setup does not require the use of advanced calibration procedures. However, keep in mind that at this stage, there is still some level of online assistance by Operations or R&D required.
- The remote assistance by Operations or R&D is at the moment still required as the GPS system is still relatively new and there are system integration aspects that require attention (e.g. network, LoRa server configuration, tag settings).
- The installation mainly consists of (a) installing the LoRa antenna at a high location (e.g. roof, pole), (b) connecting the antenna with the PC, (c) configuring the LoRa server and (d) preparing the GPS tags.
