Export of raw multi-sensor data (e.g. accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer) with TrackLab

Last updated: Aug 24, 2026

Export from TrackLab:

TrackLab currently only imports location data from the Sewio system. It does not yet import (and thus not export) data from the other tag sensors such as the accelerometer, the gyroscope, the magnetometer or the barometer. Import of, and Machine Learning with, the multi-sensor data is on the product roadmap. Ask the Product Manager for more information.

Export directly from the Sewio system:

It is possible for the customer to export raw data from the Sewio system:

  • Note that the sensors must be enabled for each tag, otherwise there is no data recorded even by Sewio.
  • Ask R&D for the export tool and user manual and share this with the customer.
  • Note: The solution we aim for on the mid term is to import and machine-learn with the raw data inside TrackLab. Therefore, the intermediate solution for export of other sensor data from Sewio is somewhat technical. The export tool consists of a Python script that docks onto Sewio's Sage application.

Further info:

The above mentioned raw data export tool is restricted to export of historical data, for use by any TrackLab user. Customers that are tech-savvy and capable of programming can also use other API's to access the raw Sewio data (see overview):

  • REST API: for export or handling of static information (meta data).
  • WebSockets API: for export of real-time data (low sample rates).
  • UDP API: for export of real-time data (high sample rates)
  • SQL Database: for custom statistics creation
