My observation went on too long. How can I manually edit the stop time to lower it?

You can not edit the stop time of your observation in The Observer XT. However, you can make an interval (in the Data Profile) from the start of your observation to a certain time or behavior in the observation to exclude the last part of the observation from being analyzed.
