C Wind Tunnel Settings

Set The Air Speed In The Wind Tunnel

Prerequisite

See the document Wind tunnel characteristics which comes with the

wind tunnel. There you find reference points for air speed and flow.

Procedure

1. Open the lid of the Control Unit at the back of the ventilation unit.
2. Power up the fan, and switch it on using the switch located on the lower side of the Control Unit.
3. The LCD display shows: FAN 1 with the current set parameters, e.g. 0018 Pa, 00.19 m/s, 0149 m3h.
4. Press and hold the SETUP button located immediately under the LCD display, until you see SETUP on the display.
5. Release the SETUP button. The display shows now LANGUAGE GB. Press the ENTER button.
6. When the display shows DISPLAY m3h? Y, press the ENTER button.
7. When the display shows DISPLAY Pa? Y, press the ENTER button.
8. When the display shows DISPLAY m/s? Y, press the ENTER button.
9. When the display shows AREA? 0.2200 m2, press the ENTER button until the last number is highlighted, then press ENTER once more. C Wind tunnel settings 10.When the display shows FAN TYPE 720124, press the ENTER button.
10. When the display shows #FANS F1, press the ENTER button.
11. When the display shows WORKING MODE CA, press the ENTER button.
12. The display shows m3h K1? followed by a value, e.g. 0150. This

corresponds to the current flow set. See the Wind tunnel

characteristics chart for reference. 14. The first number (o) is highlighted. Press ENTER. 15. When the second number is highlighted, change this with the arrow

buttons and or accept it by pressing ENTER. Do this for all the

numbers. - For example, if the value set is 0150 (= 150 cubic meters per hour)

and 1 is highlighted, to select 250 press the arrow keys to select 2

instead of 1, then press three times ENTER. 16. The display shows m3h K2?. Press ENTER four times. 17. The display shows m3h K3?. Press ENTER four times. 18. When the display shows CONFIG TIME? N, press the ENTER button. 19. When the display shows TIME SEGMENT? N, press the ENTER button.

20.When the display shows PRESSURE ALARM? N, press the ENTER

button. 21. The display now shows END SETUP. You do not have to press any key. 22.Place the lid back in its position and tighten the screws.

Notes

If you do not see WORKING MODE CA, press the arrow buttons one

or more times. If WORKING MODE CA is not available, see the TAC 5

Ventilator Regulation user manual to carry out a hard reset, or contact Noldus Support.
