Replace The Charcoal Filter
Remove the old filter
Hold the cylinder with both hands and exert mild pressure toward the fan (1). At the same time, turn the cylinder counter-clockwise (2). D Wind tunnel maintenance
Where to get a new charcoal filter

Clean the new filter
When you get a new charcoal filter, it is good to dedust it. Use compressed air for this purpose.
Attach the new charcoal filter
Position the filter so that the three bolts at one end coincide with the large holes at the side of the motor. Gently push the filter toward the fan (1), then turn the cylinder clockwise (2). This will fix the filter. D Wind tunnel maintenance
Clean Or Replace The Filter In The Lamination
Unit
The filter inside the lamination unit may show sigh of wear and accumulated dust.
Extract the filter
For this you need an Allen (hexagonal) key. 1. Separate the lamination unit from the wind tunnel. 2. Remove the four tie-wraps (see the picture below). D Wind tunnel maintenance 3. Remove the two L-shape profiles that are attached at the top edges of the lamination unit. 4. At the top of the Lamination Unit you find bolts in the middle of the panel. Remove these bolts and extract the filter holder.
Filter material
You can replace the existing filter with 20-mm universal polyester HVAC air filter. For example: https://nl.rs-online.com/web/p/hvac-air-filters/1221774 Make sure to put enough filter material in order to avoid air leakage around the edges.
