DanioScope Morphology Module Shows No Data

Last updated: Nov 01, 2026

Problem

After running an analysis in the DanioScope Morphology module, no data is displayed in the results — all fields or columns appear empty.

Details

Occurs when a calibration profile has not been assigned prior to or during morphology analysis. Without a calibration profile, DanioScope cannot scale pixel measurements to real-world units and therefore does not populate morphological output data. Applies to all DanioScope versions that include the Morphology module.

Solution

1. Open the experiment in DanioScope.
2. Navigate to the Morphology module settings or experiment setup.
3. Assign the appropriate calibration profile for the imaging setup used (e.g., matching the objective, camera, and pixel size).
4. Re-run the morphology analysis.
5. Confirm that data now appears in the results table.
6. If a calibration profile does not yet exist, create one by performing a calibration step using a reference object of known dimensions and save the profile for future use.
