Comparison list UI broken in Observer XT: columns cannot be resized and export fails

Problem
The reliability comparison list view changes layout unexpectedly, preventing users from resizing columns or behavior group labels. Exporting the comparison list produces an error in Excel and the exported file is incomplete.
Details
Reported in Observer XT during inter-rater reliability workflows. The comparison list panel (showing agreement checks and disagreement markers) loses its normal resizable column behavior. Attempting to export the comparison list to Excel results in an Excel error on open, and not all data is present in the exported file. No UI-level fix was found during investigation; the issue could not be resolved by standard interface adjustments.
Solution
As a confirmed workaround when the comparison list UI is broken and export fails:
1. Save the affected project as a template (File > Save As Template).
2. Export all observation data and coding scheme information from the template.
3. Reconstruct the project from the template in a new project file.
4. Re-run the reliability/comparison analysis in the new project.
5. Report the issue to Noldus Support with your project file attached so the root cause can be investigated for a future fix.
