Viso Viewer Cameras Stuck / Not Moving After System Restart
Last updated: Oct 29, 2026
Problem
One or more cameras in the Viso Viewer appear flipped or are stuck in a fixed position and cannot be moved, even after restarting the system.
Details
Cameras in specific rooms (e.g., puppet show rooms) stop responding to pan/tilt/zoom controls and may display a flipped image. The issue can persist across software restarts but is typically resolved by a full system restart.
Solution
1. Attempt a full system restart (not just a software restart) of the Viso server/recorder PC.
2. After reboot, open Viso Viewer and verify that the affected cameras are responsive and correctly oriented.
3. If the issue persists after a system restart, contact Noldus Support for further hardware or network-level diagnostics.
