Problem
A user accidentally deletes a video from Viso and wants to know if it can be recovered.
Details
Once a video is deleted from the Viso database, it is permanently removed. There is no built-in recovery mechanism within Viso.
Solution
1. Unfortunately, videos deleted from the Viso database cannot be recovered through Viso.
2. Check whether your facility has external backup solutions (e.g., Windows backup, network backup, or shadow copies) that may have captured a copy of the file before deletion.
3. To prevent future accidental deletions, consider implementing a regular backup strategy for your Viso data directory.
4. Contact your IT department to explore whether OS-level file recovery tools (e.g., Volume Shadow Copy) can recover the file from the storage location.
